Python 3.4.1 was released on May 18th, 2014.

Python 3.4.1 has over three hundred bugfixes and other improvements over 3.4.0. One notable change: the version of OpenSSL bundled with the Windows installer no longer has the 'HeartBleed' vulnerability.

• Matplotlib is a python library for making publication quality plots using a syntax familiar to MATLAB users. Matplotlib uses numpy for numerics. Output formats include PDF, Postscript, SVG, and PNG, as well as screen display. As of matplotlib version 1.5, we are no longer making file releases available on SourceForge.
• SCons release 2.5.1 now available from the download page at SourceForge. This release should be used instead of 2.5.0. This release fixes several issues. This will be the last release to support Python versions earlier than 2.7, as we begin to move toward supporting Python 3.
